Christmas Card with Snow Flakes

To take my mind off of the excessive heat here in Arizona, I decided to create a Christmas card in June!  LOL  Over at Live Love Cards they are having a challenge to use big sentiments - I hope this constitutes a big enough sentiment.

Supplies:
Paper:  SU Cherry Cobbler
Sentiment:  Hero Arts "Joy to All"
Snowflakes large - CTMH "Snowflakes"
Red sequins
White glitter ribbon
White embossing powder

  1. Nice job getting us to think cool. I clicked on your link on Live Love Cards, but it did not work. I ended up typing in House of Cards, your name and got your site here. I see you have been doing some organizing. With everyone using these 'Clear Plastic Sleeve Flap Envelopes', I decided to make my own using my FoodSaver. This way I can make each stamp set fit without having to be consumed with which company to buy the sleeves from and they will outlast me. I have sets that are all different sizes that range from 8 inches x 8 inches to 2 x 3. I simply measured the set (plastic it came with) and made the envelope or sleeve to fit. Thank you so much for your ideas i.e. categories and colors. This suits me way better than by companies.

  2. Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I have also started to number my images on the cardstock where I stamp them - for the envelope - and place the number on the back with the name of the company/stamp set so if I want to reference it - I can. I don't know why I didn't think of this before!

    1. Thanks for yet another good idea. Perhaps when you get that part completed, you could make a video or picture tutorial.
