The purple is a bit prettier in person.
Welcome to my cardmaking blog. I love to make cards with clear stamps and digital stamps, colored pencils (Gamsol for blending), various border, frame and shape dies and patterned paper. I hope you enjoy my cards and I would love to hear what you think.

Artfully Sent Flower Card
So I was playing around with my Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge and saw a pretty card on Pinterest that gave me an idea. I liked the flowers on this one and just cut out the HAPPY SPRING to go with it. Felt bad that I didn't stamp anything but I didn't like the look of it with the card. I'll save the stamping for INSIDE the card.

I like your textured card stock. That flower die is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteThat flower cut is beautiful! Is the sentiment also cut out of the darker purple layer, or was it cut out separately from the lighter purple and then glued on top? I know so little about the Cricut, and pictures can be so deceiving no matter how good the lighting and angle are.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about it feeling strange to complete a card front without stamping -- but it's perfectly acceptable! In fact, with the abundance of beautiful dies and stencils and embellishments, I'm surprised stamping is still as popular as it is!
