I have had this stamp set from Hero Arts for quite some time and wanted to work with it. So this gave me a great opportunity - even though it's the middle of summer! LOL
I used Cherry Cobbler paper from Stampin Up and embossed the sentiment in SILVER embossing powder. Then I embossed the snowflakes from Close to My Heart (Snowflakes)with Ranger - Holographic embossing powder. It gave it a nice shine but didn't overpower the card I thought.
Since I thought it needed a bit of dimension - I added some silver sequins on to the middle of the snowflakes (A girl just can't have too much bling! LOL).
Hope you like it.
Welcome to my cardmaking blog. I love to make cards with clear stamps and digital stamps, colored pencils (Gamsol for blending), various border, frame and shape dies and patterned paper. I hope you enjoy my cards and I would love to hear what you think.

Christmas Card with Snow Flakes
To take my mind off of the excessive heat here in Arizona, I decided to create a Christmas card in June! LOL Over at Live Love Cards they are having a challenge to use big sentiments - I hope this constitutes a big enough sentiment.
Supplies:
Paper: SU Cherry Cobbler
Sentiment: Hero Arts "Joy to All"
Snowflakes large - CTMH "Snowflakes"
Red sequins
White glitter ribbon
White embossing powder
